Q: How far is CrossPointe Foursquare Conference Center from the nearest airport?

The Roanoke Regional Airport in Roanoke, Va., is conveniently located just 40 minutes north of CrossPointe. Other nearby cities with airports include Greensboro, N.C. (2 hours), Charlotte, N.C. (3 hours) and Washington, D.C., (about 4 hours).

Q: What transportation options are available to and from the airport?

Most of our guests rent a car at the airport so they can take advantage of the numerous activities in the surrounding New River Valley. Some of our larger conferences have made arrangements for shuttle service to and from CrossPointe for their guests. CrossPointe does not offer a shuttle service.

Q: What is the average cost of a taxi from the airport?

The average cost of a taxi from Roanoke Regional Airport to CrossPointe is $33.

Q: What is the weather like at CrossPointe?

Christiansburg, Va., enjoys four full seasons. Summer highs tend to be in the 70s and 80s, often dipping into the 50s at night. Winter temps often see a low in the 30s, climbing up to the 40s during the day.

Dining Hall

Q. Is catering available for main meals? Snacks?

Yes! We are certain you will be pleased with the friendly service and quality cuisine provided by our exclusive on-site caterer. The CrossPointe Café can accommodate groups of 20-125 while dining at round tables. We offer both formal and casual dining with either buffet style or wait staff service. The menu selections in our dining guide range from family-style dinners to our Chef’s Choice Platinum Dinner. These exceptional food choices are broad enough to satisfy your group’s individual tastes and budget.

Although many groups provide their own snacks, refreshment and coffee service is available exclusively through Dining Services.

Q. Can we hire our own catering service and/or prepare our own food in your kitchen?

All groups are required to utilize our exclusive dining services provider. Due to Virginia Department of Health regulations, groups are not allowed to prepare food in our kitchen.

Many groups bring their own snacks or light refreshments for their fellowship times in the Gathering Place meeting hall. Groups are also able to order pizza or bring in other fast food if their arrival time is after our normal dining hours. However, we do ask that groups refrain from eating in their Lodge rooms or bringing meals into the Lodge from the Café.

Q: Is CrossPointe affiliated with a group or denomination?

CrossPointe is a Foursquare conference center and is affiliated with the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel. For more information on The Foursquare Church please visit: www.foursquare.org.

Q: I lost something during my stay. How can I find it?

CrossPointe encourages all of their guests to thoroughly check their rooms for personal belongings before leaving the campus. CrossPointe is not responsible for items left behind. However, if you have forgotten an item, please call 540.382.7100 and we will do our best to find it for you.

Q: Do you have laundry facilities?

A guest laundry is located on the second floor of the Lodge at CrossPointe. Additional coin-operated washers and dryers are located in the guest laundry room of the Inn at CrossPointe, in the rear of No. 970, Building D.

Q: Can I bring my pet?

CrossPointe has a pet-free policy. Pets are not permitted at any time in the guest rooms, facilities or on the grounds. Please make arrangements for your animals before leaving home.

Q: What should I pack? Do I need to dress up?

CrossPointe is a place to relax, so please bring comfortable clothes and shoes. Your dress should be appropriate for the season and for the needs of your particular conference. Please remember to bring a warm jacket for the times that you will be outside.

Q: Do you allow smoking or the use of alcohol anywhere on the CrossPointe Conference Center campus?

The CrossPointe Conference Center provides an alcohol and smoke-free environment for all of our guests.

Q: Do you have weddings or wedding receptions at the CrossPointe Conference Center?

Yes! The newly remodeled Bridge Sanctuary can be rented for weddings. The CrossPointe Café is an outstanding banquet facility, which is suitable for formal wedding receptions.

Q: Can youth groups rent the Lodge at CrossPointe? Do you host family events? Are our attendees allowed to bring their children?

CrossPointe is primarily an adult facility. With few exceptions, its use is limited to adult conferences and retreats. We request that other arrangements are made for children.

Q. Though Crosspointe Conference Center is mainly for adults, do you host family events? Would our attendees be allowed to bring along their children?

Q. If I am going to be on vacation in Christiansburg, can I book a room for a night or two?

The Lodge at CrossPointe is primarily a conference facility, so its use is limited to group retreats and events.

Q. I have a small group event that wouldn’t require many rooms. Do you require a minimum number of rooms and nights per booking?

A minimum of six guest rooms must be reserved in order to hold an event at CrossPointe. Groups may use the Lodge for a one-night stay, however we encourage groups to enjoy the benefits of a longer stay by taking advantage of reduced rates for additional nights.
